Vitamin E oil is beneficial to both the skin and health. It is well-known of its anti-aging benefits. Some people says Vitamin E oil can correct the color of scars. Yet, the oil is too greasy to be put on the face. Some people may get break-outs if they tried.
I’ve tried using vitamin E oil as a lip conditiong gloss. I just bought a bottle of vitamin E oil from drugstore, around $10.00. I put it in a roll bottle and use it like a ordinary lip gloss roller. I’ve used this bottle for more than 3 months. It is very moisturizing as it is in oil form. However the problem with the oil is that, it makes the skin of the lips come off. I’m not sure if it has something to do with its generating and renewing properties but this is what i experienced with the oil on my lips. Now I’ve stopped using this oil. I am now using a beeswax based lipstick from cranberrylane, which I like the smell and the texture of it.

Mason Pearson is a very popular hair brush brand. All hollywood stars use their hairbrush. The thing that attracts people buying this brand is because their brushes are hand made and are made using boar bristles (keep in mind that they invented bristle brushes early back in the 1900s). Anyways, they now classified their brushes into 3 main categories. People with short/long/thick/thin hair uses different kinds of brushes, how professional!
I want to get this brush around 2 years ago. The reason I did not get one is because their brushes are very expensive, around $100-400. Also, I’m not sure if their brushes are really good for hair and scalp, or just another ordinary brush.

The hair brush I’m using now is from the body shop, the wooden quilled brush. It has two size, big and small. I have both sizes and I think the bigger one is much more comfortable than the small one. The bigger one is so much softer. I recommend ppl buying the big one instead of the small one. And I love the big one because I can feel that it is massaging my scalp without damaging it.

Another brush that I wanted to try a long time ago is the brush from the face shop. Well, I did not know the face shop has it until when it opens at metrotown and i saw it, selling for around $4.00. Before I saw it online from some china manufaturing websites. The reason I want to try it is because it’s made from wood and I heard that wood is good for distributing hair oil better than plastic.

I bought Dr. Hauschka sunscreen cream SPF20, which claim to be a physical sun block. (As I know that sun block has two types, physical and chemical). As you know that I try to avoid as many products that contains chemical as I possibly can. Dr. Hauschka sunscreen cream claims to be an organic and biodegradable sunscreen. However, a physical sun block requires one to use make-up remover to clean it off the skin. This is the only disadvantage at the moment. Yet I have never used this sunscreen before, so I do not know if this one is greasy or not.
The one I have used before is Shiseido SPF 30 and the one I’m using now is Shiseido SPF 50, both belong to the combination of physical and chemical sun block group. In other words, they contain both physical and chemical sunscreen properties. They also require one to use make-up remover to clean off. Shiseido sunscreen is very popular because when you are under the sun with this sunscreen, your skin rarely gets darker. I guess the reason is because the zinc oxide in it, which is a powder-like form, that physically blocks the UVA/UVB etc. If this is true, then I guess the pure physical sun block can also do this job well. The chemical part of the sunscreen is mainly to protect the skin from burning.
Yet, shiseido does have one sunscreen that is a physical sunscreen. This is one of the 3 physical sunscreen I know (other than Dr. Hauschka), and it is Shiseido SPF 24 (I’m not sure, forgot but it is one of shiseido’s product). The other one is DDF Organic sun block SPF30. This is another one that I am very interested in and will try out in the near future.

Notes:
Physical - Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide
Chemical - Octyl Methoxycinnamate, Octyl Salicylate, Benzophenone-3
SPF - protect from sun burn
PA - protect from getting dark
