http://www.cranberrylane.com
One of the store I often visit is the Cranberrylane. They sell 100% natural beauty products that they manufactured themselves. They have different face care lines as well as care for body and hair. They also sell natural materials/ingredients/tools such as beeswax, glycerin, herbs, base oils, essential oils and many more. You can get cheaper essential oils at Cranberrylane than any other places. They come in bigger size bottle too, such as 20mL and 50mL. The store also hold soapmaking classes.
I most often buy materials from Cranberrylane, such as glycerin, jojoba oil, and herbs or essential oils for the hair and body. It is very convenient for me because the store is located in Coquitlam, which is near to where I live. I also have tried some of their products. My mom now is using their cleansing milk and essence. She especially likes their cleasing millk as my mom has very dry mature skin and this cleansing milk hydrates her skin as she cleanses. The price of herbs in cranberrylane are abit expensive. I recommend aroma beginners to buy essential oils from there.

It has been weeks since I updated. School + work is not that easy. I have tried alot of different jurlique sample products but I didn’t have the time or I didn’t have the motivation to write until now. But then I already forgot how they feel on my face, i’ve been too busy with things going on in my mind. I’m always worry about yesterday, today and tomorrow. What happened yesterday? What’s going to happen today and tomorrow? hmm. today is friday and its a day off for me. im going out today but need to vaccum first before i go. I know that lately many ppl had been visiting this site, and welcome all of you. I wish to share more stuff with all of you.

I’ve been reading this book recently.
It is called “The Skin Type Solution” by Leslie Baumann.
This first 3 chapters of th book basically helps you to find out what skin type you are and from there to choose the right products for your skin type which you will find in the rest of the book. There are 16 skin types, different combinations of 4 basic types. They are dry/oily (D/O), resistant/sensitive (R/S), pigmented/non-pigmented (P/N), and lastly wrinkled/tight (W/T).
I did the questionnaire and found that I am DRPT. I read the chapter on DRPT and found that this is the most common skin type. Anyone from Europe or Asia can have this type of skin. Yet, the products I found wasn’t that useful. I definitely prefer natural products rather than ones that contains synthetic ingredients.
I think anyone can try the questionnaire in this book to find out what skintype you are. It is always useful to know what skintype you have. I didn’t think the rest of the book is useful. Yet, I think the information will attract those who loves to try and buy different skincare products. I personally was one of those people before. I guess when it gets to a point where your skin never improves, you stop and keep everything as simple as it can be.
There is one section in chapter 2 called skin care myth that I really like about. There are 4 myths, the following one is one that I never know until I read the book:
Myth #3: Fragrance-free products contain no perfume or fragrance
“Fragrance-free means that there is no fragrance detectable by the average person’s sense of smell”
I’m very shocked as many people who have sensitive skin or people who prefer natural care like me would choose a fragrance-free product over the others. The book also mentioned that there is fragrance added to most of the skin products to cover their bad odors. From now on, we have to carefully select products. Maybe we can select products which uses essential oils as fragrance.
The first 3 chapters of the book is recommended.
